This Privacy Policy explains what information maninderenglish.com collects, why it is collected, and what you can do about it. The site is run by Maninder Thind from Sirsa, Haryana, India. If anything here is unclear, email pinka.kamboj90@gmail.com and I will answer personally.
The short version
- You can read every lesson, take every quiz and use every flashcard without giving me your name or email.
- I only ever hold your email address if you deliberately typed it into a form on the site.
- I do not sell your data, and I do not share it with anyone except the services listed below that make the site work.
- Google places advertising and analytics cookies on this site. You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time using the links further down.
Information you give me directly
Contact form
When you send a message through the form on the About or Contact page, I receive the name, email address and message you typed. These are stored in this website’s own database and emailed to me. I use them only to reply to you.
Level test result by email
After finishing the English level test, you are offered the option of having your result breakdown emailed to you. If — and only if — you enter your email address and tick the consent box, I store your email address together with your score and level band (for example “Intermediate”). I use this to send you the breakdown and occasional lessons. Skipping the offer does not affect your result in any way: the result is shown on screen either way.
These are sent by me personally rather than by an automated mailing system, and no third-party email or marketing service is involved. If I ever move to an automated list, every message will carry an unsubscribe link and I will update this page before that happens. In the meantime, reply to any email — or write to the address at the bottom of this page — and I will remove you.
How long I keep it
Contact form messages are kept while the conversation is useful and deleted when it is not. Email addresses from the level test are kept until you ask me to remove them.
Information collected automatically
Google Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics (Google Tag GT-55K5W5Z6) to understand which lessons people actually read, which quizzes get abandoned, and roughly where visitors are in the world. It sets cookies and records things like the pages you visit, how long you stay, your approximate location (city level, from your IP address), your device and your browser. It does not tell me who you are.
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting anything by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Google AdSense and advertising cookies
This site participates in Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-7193775643129096). This means:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You will still see ads, but they will not be based on your browsing.
- You can also opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.com.

Server logs
The web host (Hostinger) keeps standard server logs — IP address, request time, page requested, browser — as part of running and securing the server. This is normal for every website on the internet.
Cookies this site sets itself
WordPress sets a small number of functional cookies, mainly if you leave a comment or log in as an administrator. The flashcard and quiz tools remember your progress within your browser session so the cards do not reset while you are studying. None of this is used to identify or track you across other websites.
Children
This site is written for adult and teenage learners and is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent me their email address, email me and I will delete it.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask me to:
- tell you what information I hold about you,
- correct it,
- delete it,
- stop emailing you.
Email pinka.kamboj90@gmail.com and I will action it. There is no form to fill in and no charge. If you are in the EU or UK, this is your right under the GDPR; if you are in California, under the CCPA. I apply the same standard to everyone regardless.

This site links out to YouTube and to other websites. Once you follow a link away from maninderenglish.com, this policy no longer applies — the site you land on has its own.
Changes to this policy
If I add a service that collects something new, I will update this page and change the “last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the homepage.
